Mason COVID Health ✓™
Welcome to Mason COVID Health ✓™ System
We are asking the Mason community’s - students, faculty and staff – support in helping to monitor COVID-19 and to aid future emergency response planning for the campus. We ask everyone’s participation in voluntarily responding to an online public health risk assessment where you can report symptoms you may or may not be experiencing. Your responses to these screening questions will direct you to the appropriate CDC recommendations or to contact a healthcare provider, if necessary. Completion of these screening questions is not designed to take the place of a healthcare provider.
Our goal is to identify symptoms that may be associated with COVID-19 infection and to provide you with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidance. Any questions regarding medical care should be directed to a healthcare provider. If you have any questions about COVID-19 screening, please check the Mason Coronavirus page. You can also contact covid19@gmu.edu if you have questions about this risk assessment tool.
For technical questions please contact Mason's ITS Support at support@gmu.edu.
All collected information from the COVID-19 Risk Assessment will be used to connect individuals with recommended resources based on symptoms. Information will only be shared with the response teams working to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 virus in accordance with the provisions of the COVID-19 HIPAA Bulletin. Collected data will be securely transferred from the COVID-19 Risk Assessment to a dedicated server in the Mason Center for Discovery Science and Health Informatics at the College of Health and Human Services. Any questions regarding medical care should be directed to a healthcare provider. The center provides HIPAA compliant infrastructure to analyze data.
We suggest that you follow a daily routine and always respond to the questions first thing in the morning so that we can monitor the future direction of COVID-19. For convenience, you may wish to bookmark the website.
